The
Panasonic G85 initially released winter 2016, marks the successor to
the previously released Panasonic G7. There was quite a bit of confusion
surrounding Panasonic’s naming convention at that time.
After first releasing their mirrorless Z system with the pro-oriented Z6 and Z7 back in 2018, Nikon followed-up with the APS-C flagship Z50. But, until now, the options for a full-frame mirrorless product were solely the Z6 and Z7. And sadly, both of them are quite expensive. Thankfully, in 2020, the release of the Z5 aims to change that. https://photographypx.com/nikon-z5-review/
Sony’s return to their heritage created the best entry-level mirrorless camera to date. Initially released in the summer of 2020, Sony’s ZV-1 is a brand new lineup that departs from the long-standing CyberShot designation. It’s a new entry into the compact point & shoot arena they aim for, specifically for videographers, YouTubers, and vloggers. On paper, it looks to be similar to Sony’s existing RX100 lineup in several ways. https://photographypx.com/sony-zv-1-review/
Initially released in the summer of 2020, the S5 is a brand new full-frame mirrorless offering from Panasonic. It came as quite a shock to the industry, as most users expected the long-awaited update to the GH5. https://photographypx.com/panasonic-lumix-dc-s5-review/
